Centerville Library
Cynthia Klinck Community Room

Event Details

Is your company deciding whether to export? This workshop helps you decide whether exporting is for you by focusing on the fundamentals, such as how to get started and where to go for assistance. The session also provides an overview of the various facets of exporting, while exploring the benefits, costs, rules, and risks of exporting.

Many businesses are so busy running their day-to-day operations that they don't consider their export potential. Often, companies think exporting is too burdensome, or do not know where or how to begin. If that is you, this program is for you!

If you sell to Canada or any other foreign market, you could boost exports by expanding into new global markets with an export plan or strategy. Learn the steps to take to increase sales and global market share.

The agenda includes the five steps to expand your business internationally:

1.  Assessing your export readiness
2.  Developing your Export Plan
3.  Identifying Opportunities and Markets
4.  Learning the Rules
5.  Building a Resource Team

Brown Bag Business Lunch & Learn is held the first Wednesday of every month at Centerville Library. Attendees are welcome to bring their lunch; beverages and dessert will be provided.
