1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Event Details

Let's be honest - parenting doesn't come easily and it doesn't come with instructions! This series is intended for parents and caregivers to better navigate challenging issues that may arise with our children. Each month will focus on a new topic for different ages and will be presented by a professional in that subject field. Registration is required to receive the Webex link.

This month will focus on Teens & Tweens During the Pandemic: How to Parent Wisely in Difficult Times. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused unprecedented disruption for youth across the world. Dr. Warner, a pediatric psychologist at Dayton Children's Hospital, will provide an overview of the global data available to date about how the COVID-19 pandemic has been affecting youth psychologically. She will also discuss developmental needs for tweens and teens and review what parents can do to support continued developmental progress, resiliency, and healthy coping for youth during this unusual time.
