Event Details

Celebrate the impending eclipse by discovering new worlds and exploring the universe! This visiting planetarium will run 20-35 minute shows all day long!
The dome and accompanying mini-documentaries were created by the combined efforts of Rice University, the Museum of Science in Boston, NASA, the American Museum of Natural History, and the Houston Museum of Natural Science.
For School Children to Adults.

Show titles (and narrators): Future Moon (W. Cronkite); The Search for Life (H. Ford); Passport to the Universe (T. Hanks); Cosmic Collisions (R. Redford); Moons: Worlds of Mystery (E. Helms); and Dinosaur Prophecy (J. Bratton).

NOTE: A limited number of special eclipse sunglasses will be handed out to the public at this event. While supplies last.

Caution - Watching an eclipse without special sunglasses can permanently damage vision. Regular sunglasses do NOT provide protection. Any glasses should meet the intl. standard of ISO 12312-2 as an E-15 level of protection (approx. 100,000 times stronger than regular sunglasses).
