Join us to discuss, Empire of the Summer Moon: Quanah Parker and the Rise and Fall of the Comanches, the Most Powerful Indian tribe in American History. This Pulitzer Prize finalist is a fascinating read about the Comanche tribe and one of its most well-known chieftains, Quanah.                   

Copies of the book will be distributed at the March meeting and, afterward, are available by visiting the front desk at either Centerville or Woodbourne Library. No registration is necessary, but participants are encouraged to read the book prior to attending the discussion.

Join us to discuss, The Spy and the Traitor: The Greatest Espionage Story of the Cold War. This book traces the story of Russian intelligence operative Oleg Gordievsky, revealing how his secret work as an undercover MI6 informant helped hasten the end of the Cold War.

Great Expectations - Preview of New Releases

Great Expectations: New Releases Preview Review will help you get the inside scoop on forthcoming June to August titles from various publishers in various genres. Attendees will have the opportunity to place holds on upcoming bestsellers, literary, paranormal, domestic, and historical fiction, as well as nonfiction, mysteries and thrillers.
