Summer Reading Club

First offered in 1974, Summer Reading Club launches today! The club offers something for babies & toddlers, kids, teens, and adults. You can get started at 10 AM today!

Babies & Toddlers (Newborn – 36 months) – Complete early literacy activities with your child to earn a free board book and be eligible for the prize drawing!

Kids (Preschool – Grade 5) - Read (and/or listen) to 60 books or for 30 hours to earn a free book and be eligible for the prize drawing!

Teens entering grades 6-12 - All teens participating have the chance to win prizes just for reading, including: Target and Amazon gift cards, Kings Island tickets, and themed prize packs! Please register and submit reading entries online.

Adults (Ages 18+) - With the Book Bingo Challenge, track books read or programs attended to be entered for the chance to win a variety of gift cards or prize packs throughout the summer! Please register online.

Learn basic and intermediate skills of Microsoft Excel over 2 two-hour sessions. Topics will include worksheet basics, formatting, sorting, formulas, functions, pivot tables, and more. Prerequisites: Basic understanding of Microsoft Office.

Please note this class will be broken into 2 two-hour sessions at the Centerville Library. Session 1 will be held from 10:00am – 12:00pm and will cover Excel basics. Session 2 will be held from 1:00pm – 3:00pm and will cover more intermediate concepts.

Session 1 will be held from 10:00 AM -12:00 PM and will be a workshop, teaching you about the Library's free genealogical databases and how to navigate them.
