Summer Reading Club

First offered in 1974, Summer Reading Club launches today! The club offers something for babies & toddlers, kids, teens, and adults. You can get started at 10 AM today!

Babies & Toddlers (Newborn – 36 months) – Complete early literacy activities with your child to earn a free board book and be eligible for the prize drawing!

Kids (Preschool – Grade 5) - Read (and/or listen) to 60 books or for 30 hours to earn a free book and be eligible for the prize drawing!

Teens entering grades 6-12 - All teens participating have the chance to win prizes just for reading, including: Target and Amazon gift cards, Kings Island tickets, and themed prize packs! Please register and submit reading entries online.

Adults (Ages 18+) - With the Book Bingo Challenge, track books read or programs attended to be entered for the chance to win a variety of gift cards or prize packs throughout the summer! Please register online.

Bookmarked Teen Bookclub

Join in the discussion of this month's book Thirteen Doorways, Wolves Behind Them All by Laura Ruby while snacking on Bill's Donuts. Copies of the book are available for pickup at the Children's Desk at Centerville or Woodbourne Library starting May 16. Open to grades 6 - 12. Registration required.

Are you interested in learning more about coding, or do you already know quite a bit and want to share your love of coding with other tweens? At coding club, you can do both! For grades 4 - 7. Registration required. 

*We strongly encourage patrons to bring their own devices so they may continue to practice at home and gain familiarity with their unique set-up. Tablets (with a keyboard attachment) or laptops with the ability to connect to Google Chrome are optimal for the coding application we will be using.

All Tied Up!

Have a blast tie-dyeing your clothes! Bring your own white cotton (100% cotton works best) garments to dye and we will help you turn them into one of a kind tie-dye works of art. Two items per person. Be sure to wear something you don't mind getting messy!
