Join us for this drop-in program to learn the best information about getting a job. Visit different tables to speak with experts about online job searching, creating and perfecting a resume, acing an interview, and even starting your own business! Computers will be available for hands-on learning. Bringing a resume is encouraged but not mandatory. A resume template is available to get you started. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn the best strategies to help you get hired! Use your new-found skills to attend the Teen Job Fair on February 18! Open to grades 9 - 12.
If you’re interested in getting a job, or hoping to get one this summer, the time to look is now! Come to the Teen Job and Volunteer Fair and get information and applications from local businesses hoping to hire teens. Open to grades 9 - 12. Please note this is a drop-in program; you may come at anytime between 2:00 and 3:30.
Participating businesses include: Bethany Village, Centerville-Washington Park District, Dorothy Lane Market, Goldfish Swim Club, Graeters, Hannah's Treasure Chest, Laser Web Dayton, MCL Cafeteria, Panera Bread, St. Leonard, and Town Hall Theatre/Rec West.
Enjoy a family-friendly trivia night at the library after hours! There will be six rounds with ten questions. See if your family can be the top family! For 3rd - 12th graders and their families.
