Teens can win $3,000 for writing about their lives in the 13th Annual Dottie Yeck Good Life Award Writing Contest! Online entries are accepted from teens enrolled in grades 7-9 who live or attend school in Montgomery County. This program (including the prize money, advertising, etc., are paid for with an endowment from the family of Dottie Yeck who believed that Being Good + Doing Good = Having Fun and Being Happy and that 'one is never too young to make a positive impact on the world.' Join us for an inspiring evening as we celebrate the winners and Honorable Mentions of the 13th Annual Dottie Yeck Good Life Award writing contest! Listen to nationally known speaker, author, consultant, and local resident Fran Kick as he puts his unique spin on life's perspectives and invites you to Kick It In! and Take the Lead. The top four writers will read their essays and refreshments will be served.
